Look 1: Granny Smith Green
I had plans to get dinner with my sibling in the City and changed 5 times before landing on this outfit. Some practicalities I kept in mind: chilly evenings and taking public transportation.
However, I don’t really love babydoll tops…the proportions of a cami and a higher-waisted bottom feel better for me.
My Moschino Cheap and Chic skirt matched the girly Y2K look: something about the ruffle hem with the lace trim and dolls on the front keep it playful. If it were a solid color, it would look too business casual.
My layer (a secondhand Jil Sander sweater) kept me warm for the trek, and these classic black croc Anine Bing boots (size 38 here) are my go-to walkable knee high boots.
Dinner was really good. I got sauce stains on my top.
Look 2: Tonal Reds
