you know the drill: 10 secondhand pieces, hand-picked for your perusal.

  1. Vintage 80s Polo Sweater ($10, Men’s M)

I’m a sucker for a nice tennis green and white color combo. Polo sweaters and rugby shirt silhouettes are currently having a moment, and this $10 vintage one is a great option for some low stakes style experimentation. Imagine wearing this with some boyish pajama shorts and tall boots to get your morning coffee and pastry.

  1. Dorateymur Pierced Septum Ring Boots ($128, Size 7)

Delightfully Satanic. The listing says they’re pink but I only can only see them as red—is that just me? Debating nabbing these myself. Dorateymur is an small emerging brand and were on Need Supply before the site shut down. I’ve always loved their pierced boot design, and lately I’ve appreciated mixed materials and hardware more. Somehow, these embody Tabi energy without the literal Tabi split toes. I’d wear this with some of my white vintage lacy/slip pieces and a single ruby earring pinned to my jacket like a brooch.

  1. Jade Bangle ($67, One Size)

TRR is an underrated place to find jewelry. Especially unbranded jewelry. If you’re looking for jade bangles, searching “jadeite bangle” yields a fruitful amount of results under $100 with the item weight and specification of whether it’s true jade or “dyed” jade.

  1. Samuji Sweater ($80, Size L)

If you’re into quiet luxury. A nice knit sweater with an elevated texture that feels very Toteme/Celine. I could see @hira_again in this!

  1. Rachel Antonoff Radish Coat ($165, Size XXL)

I have this coat! It is synthetic fur with lining and I find the shorter sleeves are nice for my shorter arms (hits my wrist). People always come up and quizzically squint trying to figure out…are those beets? hearts? trees? They are radishes. It’s so Beatrice Potter and easy to wear for chillier months.

  1. Frances Valentine Blue Mary Janes ($155, Size 10)

A more budget friendly pick (yet still 100% leather) for fans of Nicole Saldaña and Sandy Liang Mary Janes. Sweet baby blue and thin straps to make your coquette dreams come true.
