Wine has been tasting good. More than that, the idea of wine has been feeling good. After a vet appointment two weeks ago I went across the street to see if a particular trendy Oakland bottle shop had La Cave Apicole which I ordered online four weeks ago only to have the order canceled because it was sold out.
I almost just got in my car and drove home, but something in me drew me to the bottle shop. Just to check. The staff person nodded when I said La Cave Apicole—we do have that it’s one of our most popular bottles and here are similar ones if you like a muscat curveé—I zoned out because I knew I was there for one thing only. I bought three bottles of it for $90 and trekked back to the car, hoping the thin brown paper bag handles wouldn’t snap against my lower forearm as I balanced a bag of doggie meds on my upper forearm.
I drank one bottle over the course of a week with Torres brand truffle chips, served the second bottle at a family gathering and I’m saving the third for…something special. Idk what that is yet but there’s a part of me that is telling myself it will be my last bottle of La Cave Apicole in a while. So it should be for something significant. I want the feeling that it’s the end of a chapter.
powder blue eyeshadow
My first favorite is actually two things…I’ve had an infatuation with powder blue eyeshadow ever since I used this Priscilla-inspired makeup filter.
After doing research on eyeshadows, I’ve found two that I love individually and mixed together. I’m going to be trying out lots of blue eyeshadow looks in the coming month!
