Tekla Twinning, anyone? I picked up two pairs of Uniqlo men’s boxers, one in blue/white stripe and one in blue/white micro gingham. They’re great over a bodysuit for wearing at home, it infuses a bit of charm into weekday drudgery like eating cold pizza, moving clothes from the washer to the dryer, throwing out moldy berries. Or, dressed up with western knee boots and a loose button down for going out.
Danica Stamenic is the kind of jewelry curator whose eye I trust so much I have phone alarms set for her Thursday vintage drops. My latest acquisition? A spiral shell pendant which I picked because it’s giving beach without relying on the familiar clamshell shape.
I am excited about clogs again and wanted a pair of printed ones. It came down to these two from No. 6—I like the green and pink more as an actual print, but I could see myself wearing the flat base style more. So I ordered the flat base. I’m picturing them with my pale wash B Sides Lasso jeans and a plain cotton tank. They are returnable, so I will need to see how much I like them IRL.
Do you ever get the insatiable urge to replace your underwear drawer en masse? I regret being influenced into buying a bunch of Parade undies during the pandemic, because they’re so stretched out and flimsy now. I also regret not stocking up on more cotton ribbed Entireworld undies before they shut down. Breathable cotton is just the absolute best for summer. My heart fluttered when I came across these cotton undies in minimal balletic cuts and highly pigmented colors, just how I like my basics:

MERIT re-released their lipstick in Aperitif this month. I’m a big fan of the balmy formula and ordered one. I gravitate towards colors that are bold punchy reds and oranges, and shirk away from cool pale pinks and beiges. It’s wild how much alive/robust the bolder colors make me look over the pale ones, imo.
Surprisingly, I haven’t ordered anything from TRR in over a month. That is atypical for me. I don’t know—the site hasn’t been compelling me lately. It’s been feeling picked through. The pricing seems inflated. But maybe I’m exhausting my current brand watch list and cycling through an echo chamber of products.

For TRR, I’ve been only liking shoes here and there. Not finding really good pieces like before. I find myself more often on Vestaire Collective. It has cooler stuff that I like 🤷🏻♀️
May I ask what size you bought in those Uniqlo trunks? The only review is from a furious dude who says the sizing is whack 😂
